La vocera de CBS Kelli Raftery dijo que Spears a una lectura con el elenco el lunes, tuvo un ensayo el martes y filmó escenas el miércoles. Grabaría otras tomas el jueves y viernes.
Radnor le dijo a People.com que ``en el primer día de rodaje, Britney se sabía sus líneas mejor de lo que yo me sabía las mías. Ha sido maravilloso trabajar con ella''.
Spears había aparecido previamente en series de televisión. En el 2006 trabajó como invitada en un episodio de ``Will and Grace'' y en el 2000 actuó y cantó en "Saturday Night Live''.
"How I Met Your Mother'', que regresa el lunes a la pantalla chica con nuevos episodios tras la huelga de guionistas, trata sobre un grupo de veinteañeros en la ciudad de Nueva York, interpretados por Radnor, Jason Segal, Alyson Hannigan, Cobie Smulders y Neil Patrick Harris.
Spears ha estado bajo la tutela de su padre, James, tras pasar un año comportándose de modo extraño y luego de dos hospitalizaciones. También se encuentra en medio de una batalla legal con su ex esposo Kevin Federline por la custodia de sus hijos Jayden James, de un año, y Sean Preston, de dos.
