Originalmente se había anunciado que Campbell sería una de las invitadas al programa el año pasado, lo que nunca ocurrió. Otras apariciones especiales de ``Ugly Betty'' incluyen a Victoria Beckham y Gene Simmons, quien resultó ser el padre de Amanda como parte de la trama.
Newton dijo que Simmons aparecerá nuevamente en un episodio posterior.
