Latinos on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood
Cristina Saralegui
The Cuban presenter was the first celebrity from Spanish-language television to receive a Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Saralegui received Star number 2147 on November 4, 1999 in attributing her more than 30 year professional career and engagement of the public.

Luis Miguel
The sun on September 26, 1996 shined a little brighter for Luis Miguel. It was the day when he was honored by the organizing committee of The Hollywood Walk of Fame honored him with a star on the Hollywood Boulevard and it was put near the location of the stars of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Madonna.
Alejandro Fernández
Following the footsteps of his father, first musically and then on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "El Potrillo" inaugurated his star on the famous boulevard on December 2, 2005. The singer was accompanied by his children and his son, Vicente Fernández.
Antonio Banderas
On October 18, 2005 this handsome actor became the owner of star number 2294 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Banderas was accompanied by his wife Melanie Griffith and his daughters.
Andy García
Another one of the Latinos on the most famous sidewalks on a global level is Cuban Andy García. On September 19, 1995 he received his star, surrounded by relatives and friends. What times those were Andy!
Don Francisco
On June 8, 2001, Mario Kreutzberger, better known as "Don Francisco", received Star number 2179 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He also launched a weekly interview show on Central Time called, 'Don Francisco Presents'.
Emilio Estefan
Due to the amount of Grammies that he has accumulated throughout his musical producer career, Emilio finally got his deserved of glory, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His name was engraved on rose colored floor over a black background, next to that of his wife, the singer Gloria Estefan.
George Lopez
The comedian counts on his own star on the Hollywood Boulevard, a tribute that coincided with the 100th episode of his series "The George Lopez Show", on March 29, 2006. This was star 2306 that they gave to him.
José José
On February 10, 2004, "Prince of Song" received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. José José was accompanied by all his family and television personalities like Renán Almendárez known as the "El Cucuy of the Morning", and the presenter Johnny Canales, among others.
Juan Gabriel
On May 10, 2002 'The Divo of Juarez', got the star 296 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In a ceremony he was surrounded by thousands of his fans, Juan Gabriel dedicated the star to mothers and sang "Eternal Love" for the public present.
Rita Moreno
The first and to the date only Hispanic actress to have won an Emmy, Oscar, Grammy, Tony was distinguished on July 20, 1995. She is famous for her roles in movies such as "Singing Under the Rain" (1952), "The King and I" (1956),"West Side Story" (1961) and "Carnal Knowledge" (1971).
Tito Puente
On August 14, 1990 the Puerto Rican percussionist received the Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was accompanied by his inseparable friend Celia Cruz, who added the "azúcar" to the event.
Vicente Fernández
The "Charro de Huentitán" also received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, on November 11, 1998. His charisma, talent, and popularity have made success of Vicente Fernandez that he didn't even expect. And it still is going. Congratulations Vicente!
Julio Iglesias
Owner of one of the best voices in popular music, the Spanish singer and songwriter became another neighbor on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 6, 1985. From then on there he continued to make hits internationally.
Ricky Martin
In 2008, Ricky Martin will join 60 other Hispanic figures that already have a star in Hollywood. His professional achievements, and his career success and his contributions to the Hispanic community are some of the attributes that helped his star move into the block, on the famous boulevard.
Christina Aguilera
Another star who will soon have a place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is singer Christina Aguilera. The name of the pop star will join more than 2,000 celebrities who have already been immortalized on this boulevard since 1958.
'Cantinflas'
Although Mario Moreno, never reached the same success that he saw in his own country. On October 10, 1080 the star was honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Who would have said that years later he would've been considered the "Charles Chaplin of Mexico".
Pure Latin Talent
Other Latins have also gotten a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: Carlos Santana, Antonio Aguilar, José Feliciano, José Ferrer, Desi Arnaz, Dolores del Rio, Plácido Domingo, Katy Jurado, Israel "Cachao" Lopez, Carmen Miranda, Edward James Olmos, Anthony Queen, and César Romero.
