Buscan a Salma y a Benicio para 'Noticia de un secuestro'

LOS ÁNGELES, Estados Unidos, nov. 3, 2008.- Entre los actores que podrían protagonizar la adaptación al cine de la novela de Gabriel García Márquez, Noticia de un secuestro, están contemplados Salma Hayek y Benicio del Toro.

El cuento de hadas continúa y Salma Hayek y su esposo, François Pinault, disfrutaron de su luna de miel en las islas de Seychelles. Según testigos, la pareja lució más enamorada que nunca y disfrutaron a solas del paraíso tropical. PopEater obtuvo fotos exclusivas de la pareja.

La producción de Noticia de un secuestro pretende reunir a grandes talentos actorales, ya que además del director Pedro Pablo Ibarra, la actriz mexicana y el puertorriqueño, quieren que Javier Bardem, Victoria Abril o Carmen Maura se unan a este proyecto.

La cinta abordará el secuestro de 10 periodistas secuestrados en Colombia, perpetrado por el legendario narcotraficante Pablo Escobar, jefe del Cartel de Medellín, con el objetivo de impedir la extradición de narcotraficantes a Estados Unidos.

El guión estará listo hasta 2009 y estará a cargo de Aída Bortnik, escritora y guionista de teatro, cine y televisión.

La cinta tendrá un presupuesto de 6 millones de dólares y se planea que el estreno tenga lugar en algún festival europeo.
