Según dijo el productor de la cinta, Todd Black, en entrevista para el New York Post, la actriz estará de regreso en Spiderman 4, pero no necesariamente para casarse con 'Peter Parker' como se ha estado rumorando, pues, según declaraciones de Black, él no ha visto nada parecido en el guión de la película.

    Aunque Black se negó a reveler la identidad del villano que le hará la vida imposible a Spiderman, aseguró que, "estamos definiendo detalles sobre el villano, pero tenemos algunas ideas concretas ya que volveremos a filmar en Nueva York, y créanme, les encantará nuestra elección, ya que tendrá que ver con una gran parte de esta Ciudad", concluyó el productor.

    Se planea que Spiderman 4 empiece a filmarse en 2010 en Nueva York , para que llegue a la pantalla grande en enero de 2011.
