Nueva York, 21 Jun. (Notimex).- El actor británico Robert Pattinson, quien se dio a conocer tras su participación en "Crepúsculo", fue atropellado cuando intentaba huir de un grupo de seguidoras que lo esperaban afuera de una librería.

El accidente ocurrió cuando el histrión, en su intento por esquivar a las fans, cruzó la calle a toda prisa lo que provocó que un taxi no pudiera esquivarlo y lo arrolló.

El "hombre más guapo del mundo", según un sondeo realizado por una publicación, salió ileso del golpe, se levantó rápidamente tras el incidente y continuó su fuga.

El actor había aprovechado un descanso durante las grabaciones de su nuevo filme "Remember me" en Nueva York, y debido a su creciente fama en esta ciudad, la productora de la película ha decidido proporcionarle guardaespaldas.

"Se siente un poco superado por su popularidad. Es un chico encantador y le cuesta comprender por qué tantas personas le esperan durante horas enteras sólo para verlo", informó una fuente del rodaje.
