Nueva York, 21 Ene.- Los cantantes Jennifer López y Marc Anthony celebraron el primer baby shower, en un lujoso hotel de esta ciudad, misma que contó con la asistencia de varias celebridades del espectáculo, entre ellas el diseñador Roberto Cavalli.

Como parte de la tradicional fiesta, que se realizó en la terraza del Gramercy Park Hotel, López y su marido se reunieron con sus amigos más cercanos, de los que recibieron obsequios para el futuro bebé.

La dirección del evento corrió a cargo de Elaine Goldsmith, quien fuera productora de López durante el rodaje de la comedia romántica "Sucedió en Manhattan" en 2002.

La fiesta se realizó entre grandes medidas de seguridad, llamando la atención de algunos curiosos y seguidores de Jennifer López, quien llevaba el cabello recogido, ataviada con un abrigo y zapatos en color negro.

Entre los invitados estuvieron la actriz Leah Remini y el diseñador Roberto Cavalli, quien regaló a la cantante una cuna rosa con estampados de leopardo.

La decoración del festejo fue, en su mayoría, en tonos blancos y azules, y la sala donde tuvo lugar estaba cubierta con diminutos cristales de Swarovski.

El embarazo se confirmó hace sólo tres meses, luego de numerosas especulaciones y de acuerdo con algunos medios, los cantantes podrían estar doblemente felices al esperar gemelos, ya que JLo recibió de su hermana Lynda un par de trajes.

Jennifer López aseguró que no sabe cuánto tiempo estará alejada de los escenarios. "Es un tiempo especial en nuestras vidas. No sé cuándo volveré a trabajar".
