O"Neal indicó que el matrimonio se concretará tan pronto como ella lo decida "Ha estado bromeando sobre el vestido que se pondrá en la ceremonia y me ha pedido que me vista como un `gigoló", con un delgado bigote y una enorme cabellera", indicó.
Ambos procrearon un hijo -durante su relación que inició en la década de los 80 y en donde vivieron juntos por varios años- Redmond, de 24 años de edad y quien ahora se encuentra en rehabilitación por múltiples sentencias relacionadas con el consumo de drogas.
"De manera frecuente y en todo momento le he estado pidiendo que se case conmigo pero sólo se había tomado como una broma", explicó O"Neal, quien dijo que se enamoró aún más de Farrah por la forma en la que ha demostrado su batalla con el cáncer.
"En los últimos dos años me enamoré más de ella como nunca. Es mucho más que una mujer, es poderosa, tiene coraje, no tiene temor y se le pueden añadir más y más adjetivos", resumió.
